This is what your meeting or event in Langenlois could look like

Admittedly, organizing an event or seminar with a suitable supporting programme can be a real challenge. To make planning a little easier for you, we asked our event team: What would a typical program for a seminar, workshop or company celebration at LOISIUM Wine & Spa Hotel Langenlois look like if you were to book an event with us?
A little note in advance: The following schedule is for inspiration – you can implement it exactly as it is, but we are happy to adapt the program to your individual needs.

The most important facts summarized in advance

  • Arrival by car (around 1 hour from Vienna) or train
  • Over 100 parking spaces for hotel guests, as well as several e-charging stations
  • Meeting rooms with modern media technology and flexible room layouts
  • Extensive supporting program: wine edutainment, bike tours, visits to winegrowers and much more
  • All information about the Meetings & Events offer at LOISIUM Langenlois

Arrive with all your senses

The 3-day stay with 2 nights starts full of anticipation: From Austria you can reach us easily by train or car, our international guests can reach Langenlois, Austria’s largest wine town, in about an hour’s drive from Vienna-Schwechat airport. In the heart of the Kamptal, famous for its Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, forms the picturesque backdrop for our unforgettable experience at the LOISIUM Wine & Spa Hotel Langenlois.

The LOISIUM area stretches from the charming outskirts of the village with the inviting Veltliner House and Pinot House to the unique LOISIUM WeinWelt, which extends towards the historic center of the village. With over 100 parking spaces, some free of charge and some at reduced prices for hotel guests, as well as several e-charging stations, the journey is made easy. Here, in the heart of the wine paradise, we not only have a hotel, but also a place that combines tradition and modernity, enjoyment and cuisine as well as productive work and relaxation.

Culinary start with wine from our own vineyard

We start with a light lunch at the hotel in the Vineyard restaurant, which takes its name from the surrounding vineyards. A glance out of the restaurant already reveals which grape variety will be served in the glass as a start to a productive and enjoyable stay: Grüner Veltliner from the Loisium vineyard. As a non-alcoholic alternative, a natural fruit juice from the neighboring village also makes for a tasty start.

Off to the meeting rooms

We move into our spacious meeting room with natural daylight in the conference center, which opens in 2021. Among other things, the latest media technology comes from the 5 m high ceiling, parts of which consist of vaults reminiscent of wine cellars. Flexible walls allow for different room sizes, depending on the type and size of the event. We enjoy coffee breaks with regional delicacies on the adjoining terrace, which can also be used for small group work and team activities.

Discover and experience the region

After another part of the workshop, we move into our spacious rooms. We have a good hour before we all meet up again for dinner. While some of us visit the Spa Club and swim a lap in the year-round heated outdoor pool, others explore part of the Langenlois Wine Trail, which runs alongside the hotel. The first kilometer leads gently uphill through the vineyards, past giant sculptures such as the vine shears or the shaking desk. Viticulture is artfully brought to life here!

A magnificent view over Langenlois and the seemingly endless sea of vines are the reward for the walk. On the way we see locked wine fridges. Some have already read in advance that you can hire a shoulder bag with a book, wine glass and key for these wine fridges from the neighboring Ursin Haus. Larger groups are accompanied by a local winemaker.

Back at the hotel, we meet for an aperitif in the “Pocket Garden” – a small, hidden but cozy place next to the hotel, which is completely surrounded by Grüner Veltliner vines (keyword: our first glass of wine on arrival comes from here). We enjoy our 4-course dinner in the Vineyard restaurant, accompanied by the best Kamptal wines. After a small “nightcup” at the very well-stocked hotel bar, we retire and look forward to an eventful second day.

Tour through the neighboring LOISIUM WeinWelt

The healthy breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, we start the second workshop day strengthened and let our ideas sprout until the afternoon and enjoy a small snack and coffee & cake in between.

In the late afternoon, we quench our thirst for knowledge – in the truest sense of the word – on the subject of wine. Because another highlight of our stay awaits us in the LOISIUM WeinWelt. We meet in front of the WeinWelt at the WineRunner “Koarl”, which, with up to 400 bottles of wine on board, can also be hired for company events throughout Austria – LOISIUM “to go”, so to speak.

There we start the “Walk & Wine” tour: a guided tour through the over 900-year-old mystical cellar world, combined with various sparkling wine and wine tastings from local winegrowers. The destination of our journey through wine history: the “10er Haus”, where a typical winegrower’s buffet with regional delicacies awaits us in the Heurigen – true to the LOISIUM motto “Taste the Region”.

Enjoyment and adventure tour by bike

Before we unfortunately leave again on day 3, we follow LOISIUM’s insider tip and go on a special kind of e-bike tour. In the LOISIUM BikeWelt, right in the hotel, everyone can find the right bike and have it set up correctly with expert advice. The bikes (with and without electric motors) are from the premium brand Trek, a brand that is particularly popular with professionals. We are amazed at what is on offer here and treat ourselves to uniform cycling jerseys and water bottles. After a short briefing from our guide “BikeMichi” and a short test ride, we set off on a 2-hour pleasure and adventure ride through the beautiful Kamptal valley. Even the Heiligenstein, from which you have a wonderful view and is considered one of the most important vineyards in Langenlois, is easy to conquer with “electronic support”. Back in Langenlois, we stop in the courtyard of the 10er Haus, where a winegrower’s snack and chilled drinks await us. A little further on, then we are back at the hotel and, after buying our favorites in the WeinWelt wine shop, we start our journey home. The question we ask ourselves: Which LOISIUM will we visit next?

See you soon – we look forward to your visit!
