The event team and their favorite places

In this story, we would like to introduce you to our event team, who not only ensures unforgettable events, but are also true ambassadors for our regions. Immerse yourself in the insider tips and favorite places that our team has discovered for you and let yourself be enchanted by the diversity of the regions.

Michael Blößer | Head of MICE

My name is Michael Blößer, a South Styrian bay choice from the Rhineland. I’ve been working at LOISIUM since 2015 and can usually be found in Ehrenhausen.

After 25 years in MICE sales, I can say that I particularly enjoy advising the organizers on the best way to run their event in order to bring them and the participants closer to the region with all its facets and experiences – in line with our guiding principle “Taste the region”.

My favorite place in southern Styria is best reached on foot with sporty shoes, by e-bike or with the “Traktorgaudi” including LOISIUM picnic backpack: the pavilion of the Jöbstl winery. It rises out of the vast sea of vines with a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding vineyards and is the ideal picnic spot complete with a large wine fridge. Southern Styria at its best.

In Kamptal, I like to walk the wine trail with the large vines, enjoy the great view of Langenlois and look forward to the local wineries serving wine at the Weingartenschank between April and October and the winegrowers being available for a chat.

Anna-Sophie Reiter | Event & Group Coordinator

Hello, my name is Anna-Sophie Reiter, I am 23 years old and have been part of the LOISIUM family for about 3 years. My journey began as an intern at the reception and in service at LOISIUM Langenlois and in the WeinWelt. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I was able to become part of the LOISIUM Group’s event team. My favorite place in the Kamptal and also my favorite activity is the Weinwelt, with its diverse range of wines and regional products such as jams and juices. The underground cellar world is also worth a visit. The combination of tradition and modernity fascinates me every time!

In southern Styria, it’s the breathtaking vineyards of the South Styrian Wine Route! The best way to explore them is on an e-bike, which you can hire directly from us at the hotel. If you want to take it a little more leisurely, but at least as much fun, I can recommend a tour along the wine route with the “Traktorgaudi”. Never heard of it? I would be happy to tell you more about it in a personal conversation!

Bianca Schiffauer | Event & Group Coordinator

My name is Bianca, and I have been working at LOISIUM for 6 years. As part of the event team, it is particularly important to me that our guests feel completely at ease in the hotel and that we create unforgettable moments that our customers will remember for a long time to come.

In the Lower Austrian Kamptal, the Heiligenstein is my personal favorite place, from where a wonderful circular hike starts directly from Langenlois. The highlight of this route is the Kamptalwarte, which offers a breathtaking view over the lower Kamptal as far as the Danube valley.

In southern Styria, it is the Buschenschank Gallunder in Ehrenhausen – an absolute must for anyone who wants to explore the South Styrian Wine Route in culinary terms.

Christian Beckmann | Business Development Manager

Hi, I’m Christian and I’ve been working in Sales and Business Development at LOISIUM Wine & Spa Hotels for 1.5 years. Due to my frequent travels, every visit to our hotels feels like coming “home”. My personal favorite place in Langenlois is a visit to the Steininger family’s winery, where you can enjoy a magnificent selection of Austria’s best sparkling wines.

A little tip: If you visit the cellar tour in the Weinwelt, you have the opportunity to gain an insight into the Steininger family’s production halls and wine cellars.

In southern Styria, I highly recommend a visit to the “Musterstuben” wine tavern, with a wonderful view of the vineyards on the Graßnitzberg. Here you can enjoy a typical regional Welschriesling accompanied by a snack of local delicacies. The 250-year-old winegrower’s house is a jewel of bygone days that is hard to find anywhere else.

Carina Griesser | Event Managerin

My name is Carina and I like to do sports. So my favorite activity can only be our (e-)bikes! With our experienced guides, you can explore the Langenlois region in a spectacular and unique way while enjoying nature. Here you also ride through my favorite place: the cellar lane on the Sauberg.

In addition to the bike offer, the motor skills park, very close to the hotel, is ideal for letting off steam in a playful way and testing your limits in new ways. Afterwards, I like to relax in our Spa Club and in the heated outdoor pool.
