Leading almost exclu­sively over paved roads, this tour is off to an easy start on the flat bike path to Gamlitz, past the Obsthof Glück fruit farm and on towards Grubtal before climb­ing up the Kranachberg.

Starting out on the Gamlitz bike path, this tour will put you to the test with a more chal­leng­ing climb up to Sernaukogel. On the way back you will pass through hop plan­ta­tions for beer pro­duc­tion. Perfect for a stop along the way: Buschenschank Adam Schererkogel with breath­tak­ing views.

If you brought your own bike, feel free to pedal past this one. Everyone else, lis­ten up! Our recep­tion has a fleet of elec­tric and gravel bikes from iBIKE-BOX wait­ing for you to take them on an explo­ration of the Styrian nature.

You can leave your per­sonal bike eas­ily and safely in one of the lock­able bike spaces next to the hotel. If you pre­fer to keep your bike close to you, even at night, you can request a bike rack for your room at the recep­tion desk*. Rented bikes must always be returned to the iBIKE-BOX.

If your bike is full of mud and dust after a tour through the south Styrian coun­try­side, it’s a sign you did every­thing right. To help your two-wheeled com­pan­ion regain its shine, there’s a bike wash sta­tion next to the iBIKE-BOX.

With so much phys­i­cal exer­tion, stom­ach pangs are bound to kick in even­tu­ally and demand some atten­tion. To keep you from hav­ing to pre­pare your sand­wiches in your hotel room, we’ll pro­vide you with snacks accord­ing to your indi­vid­ual needs. Simply order at the recep­tion. By request, we can also pro­vide you with a bicy­cle back­pack.
